At one time, plans were made for Rainbow Ark to have its own furry convention. "RACon" was to take place at Best Western of Leesburg Virginia which is not far from Dulles International Airport. Room rates had been quoted by the hotel manager, but group interest was short-lived and so the idea was scrapped.
